What Is a Union

A union is a collective organization formed by workers to address shared concerns and advance their common interests in the workplace. It functions as a representative body for employees within a specific industry or across various sectors, aiming to negotiate with employers on multiple agreements and services. Unions identify and advocate for the workforce using membership funding to help empower the employees rights and equitable treatment within the workforce.
