Donations And Sponsorships
Donations serve as a meaningful gesture through which OPSEU Local 649 demonstrates its commitment to supporting members and the broader community. Recognizing the significance of keeping resources within our region, it is crucial for every member to be an active participant in the local union. By doing so, we ensure that union dues are utilized to benefit our own community.
To ensure fairness and transparency in the allocation of donations, we have established a dedicated donation committee composed of multiple members. This committee plays a pivotal role in reviewing and distributing donation requests, guaranteeing that the process remains equitable and accessible to all. We take pride in announcing that each year, our union is able to make a positive impact by providing assistance through donations and sponsorships for a wide range of activities and events.
If you are interested in requesting a donation, we kindly ask you to familiarize yourself with our donation policy. Once you have done so, you can submit your request through the designated channels. We look forward to considering your application and continuing our tradition of supporting our members and community through meaningful contributions.
