Thank you for attending our General Membership meeting (GMM) on February 15, 2023.
We had a successful turn out. Our meetings help provide you with the necessary information regarding union and employment affairs. We generally offer good food, good company, and good discussions. This time, we had the opportunity to review and vote on union matters such as the upcoming OPSEU convention, budget, donation committee, and our upcoming ByLaws.

A big portion of this meeting focused on selecting who will represent the local 649 during the 2023 OPSEU convention. This year, we want to thank the following individuals heading to the convention: Shawn Mason, Krish Homagain, Lauren Toppozini, Amy Breault, Peter, Gregg Lloyd, Michelle Oulton, Cindy Caron, and Shelley Shank. We hope to bring back the experience to the group during our next GMM or an upcoming message post.
Our 2023 budget was discussed, reviewed, and approved by members. You can find a detailed review of our budget plans for 2023: budget 2023.

Please take a moment to review the ByLaws document and provide us feedback by April 17th, 2023. This will allow us to review your comments and concerns in order to enhance our ByLaws to best represent our union members.
